Mirion offers free placement assessments for each of our TrainingTrax programs. The purpose of the placement assessment is to establish the level of understanding of the prospective student to insure that their knowledge level is suitable for entry into the program at the right point. This insures that the student has the correct foundational knowledge to successfully complete the course and it insures that each successive course in a complete program is attended by students who are ready for the material. Individual students and training program managers may also use placement assessment results to help define the contents of custom courses.

GP-101 Radiation Detection Placement Assessment

Successful completion of this assessment will allow you to skip the course “GP-101” and proceed directly to courses “GP-201”, “GP-202”, or “GP-203” for entry into the TrainingTrax program.

GP-201 Gamma Spectroscopy Placement Assessment

Successful completion of this assessment will allow you to skip the course “GP-201” and proceed directly to course “GP-301” for entry into the Apex-Gamma or Genie Gamma Spectroscopy TrainingTrax programs.

GP-202 Alpha Spectroscopy Placement Assessment

Successful completion of this assessment will allow you to skip the course “GP-202” and proceed directly to course “GP-302” for entry into the Apex Alpha Spectroscopy TrainingTrax program.

GP-203 Alpha/Beta Counting Placement Assessment

Successful completion of this assessment will allow you to skip the course “GP-203” and proceed directly to course “GP-303” for entry into the Apex Alpha/Beta TrainingTrax program.
